Company Overview

VMI Group in Epe, the Netherlands, encompasses several specialized

business lines for tire, rubber, can, and care products, each of them

having earned a solid reputation in their respective markets.

The VMI machines are produced in state-of-the-art manufacturing

and services facilities in the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Poland,

and China. Combined with service centers in the USA, Malaysia, and

Thailand, we are always close at hand for whatever support may be

needed. Our 1,800 people across the globe continuously strive to bring

our industries to the next level by providing state-of-the-art, innovative

technology to make our customers more successful.

Product Overview

VMI’s smart machine technology gives you world-leading solutions

for managing the pharmaceutical value chain. From high-performing

automated machines to the most advanced management software —

VMI has the tools to bring you greater speed, accuracy, and flexibility as

you develop a new kind of pharmaceutical strategy.

Delivering the right medicines to the right people at the right time is a

top priority. VMI designs and supplies automated smart machines to

ensure the best outcomes for everyone.

As pharmacists, you understand exactly why automation in dispensing is

so important — for patient safety, regulatory compliance, and competitive

advantage. Yet we believe you are not satisfied with the options on the

market. If you are a high-volume pouch packaging pharmacy and find that

operational efficiency is not as high as you expected, or you need too many

human interventions to fix problems or make changes, our INDIVION/

PHARYS solution could be what you’ve been waiting for. Our machine

has been designed from the ground up to eliminate the common causes

of errors (we meet 99.97% accuracy rates and can prove it), all while

providing production speed that is not only exceptionally high but also

requires a very low level of human touch points as well.

The INDIVION/PHARYS solution provides all of the above, resulting

in significantly lower cost per pouch, leading to strong ROI and lower

total cost of ownership.

VMI PHARYS

Automated solutions of every kind require the most advanced management

software, not just to control an individual production system, but to ensure

fast, smooth interaction with other production assets. VMI’s PHARYS

software is a next generation management tool, designed from the ground

up for rapid integration without new code, APIs or other specialized

programming. It’s an extensible, secure platform for managing complex

groups of operational technology assets.

• Error-free deliveries.

• Ability to accept ‘last minute’ orders.

• Reliable deliveries and traceability.

• Optimal use of installed equipment.

VMI INDIVION

VMI has brought its 30 years of experience

in designing highly automated machines

to develop what we believe is probably

the most advanced and high-performing

pouch-based medicine packing system

in the world. INDIVION produces up to

10,000 pouches per hour, with an average

dispensing accuracy better than 99.97%.

The number of pouches that need rework is

extremely low when compared with most other

machines, with very little risk of cross contamination.

• Exceptionally high capacity of up to 10,000 pouches per hour.

• More than 1,000 smart canisters with RFID technology.

• Equipped with a reliable and durable industrial robot.

• Maximum dropping height of medicines is 21 cm (8 inch).
