our vision and goals for EMS and is eager to become a key asset in giving
Rx30/ComputerRx pharmacies advanced capabilities and services critical

Rx30/ComputerRx Introduces its
‘Enhanced Medication Services Center’
for Independent Pharmacy!
Rx30/ComputerRx’s new Enhanced Medication Services Center (EMS) is now live and gaining significant early
traction with funded programs for their 8,600 pharmacies. Manned and operated by pharmacists and technicians,
EMS exists to provide for maximum patient engagement, significant ‘quality lift’ in driving higher pharmacy ratings on
performance measures, reducing DIR impacts and implementation of a variety of programs/services that EMS will
manage with and on behalf of Rx30/ComputerRx stores.
Steve Wubker, President/CEO over Rx30/ComputerRx/EMS describes the model, “It’s great to have clinical services
programs built into your pharmacy software, but until the financial model changes to meaningfully compensate
pharmacists for taking on the multiple tasks required to effectively manage such programs, including CMRs, TIPS,
MTM, Adherence activities, med. Sync. programs, dedicated staff, work areas, etc., etc., pharmacists need a more
realistic answer! Where’s the real money?? For an overwhelming majority – the work is not getting done. We believe
our EMS Center is the answer!
EMS is comprised of pharmacists/technicians that can serve as the backstop to get these tasks accomplished in
coordination with or on behalf of our Rx30/ComputerRx pharmacies – driving higher performance, healthier
outcomes and revenue! The ABSOLUTE key is our size, scale and strength to actively engage payers, manufacturers
and others willing to fund programs that pay to drive performance for our stores. The big chains, YOUR competition,
have held this power for years and finally, Rx30/ComputerRx independents have the same size, power and
representation on their behalf! The model simply makes sense! With pharmacies now being judged, penalized/
rewarded based on performance, pharmacies need a strong advocate with the strength in volume to have a voice
and make a difference on their behalf – that’s EMS.”
