ENTIRE DRUG
INVENTORY —

Rafael Saenz
Director of Pharmacy
University of Virginia
Health System
The University of Virginia Health System (UVHS) adopted Talyst’s
automation technology in 2009. With AutoPharm® Enterprise,
UVHS has a perpetual inventory and a detailed tracking system that
prevents drug shortages and increases inventory turns. The result is
a decrease in inventory from an on-hand supply of 11 days down to
5 days and a reduced carrying cost of approximately $500,000.
